Feb 29 - Clifty Falls Woodpecker/Waterfall Hike

Today I met up with several others from the Louisville Photo Meetup group at Clifty Falls SP in Madison, IN.  While I did not have the opportunity to photograph any woodpeckers on the actual woodpecker hike i did get a female Downy on a tree prior to the hike starting and a Redbellied Woodpecker at the Nature Center after lunch.  I had the opportunity to meet 3 others from the group I had not met before, Robin, Karen and David.  We had a good outing and lunch at the Lodge was pretty darn tasty too.  Here are today's pics...enjoy!

February 23 - Sandhill Cranes

Returning today from Bloomington IN I stopped by Ewing IN and found a few straggling sandhill cranes.  Most of them have already departed the region, but luckily for me there were still a few hanging around.  I have thrown in a couple of shots of some cool looking horses and a buzzard flyby also.  Enjoy

Feb15 Skate Park and City Stuff

I had such a great time on Saturday morning and the weather was sooooo nice that I went back out Saturday late afternoon/evening and shot some photos in downtown Louisville and at the Louisville Skate Park.  One skater, Christian Lattimer allowed me to take his photo and use it on this blog and facebook.  I agree to provide him copies of the images for his viewing pleasure.
