June 10 - Shots from Deam Lake

Wow, I can't believe it's been over a month since I last posted here on the blog.  I don't know about everyone else but I am OVER this quarantine and stay-at-home situation.  But on the other hand I am not comfortable yet with the reopening plans here in Indiana.  There are way too many folks gathering in public places already without attention to social distance guidelines or masks and this could lead to a second outbreak which we can ill afford.  Please if you can, follow the guidelines, there are too many people still susceptible to this virus due to underlying conditions.  Thank you, now I hope you enjoy these photos from my recent camping trip to Deam Lake.  Most were taken from the kayak and there are some "attempts" at some Macro Photography as well.  I say attempts because Macro is not my forte and I realize after seeing the shots that Macro takes patience and practice and a TRIPOD, hand holding only produces marginal results.  Enjoy.

This blog is dedicated to the memory of my Aunt Betty Hurlburt who was my biggest fan, she loved my wildlife photos, especially the bird pics.  RIP Betty, we love you and will miss you terribly.  I won't be able to look at a Northern Cardinal again and not remember Aunt Betty.
