Today while working in the Georgetown and New Albany areas I came across a Red Shouldered Hawk having a field mouse for lunch on a high wire, then later I found a "Wake" of Black Vultures. They are typically called a "Committee" unless they are feeding as a group on a carcass, such was the case today. Along the Ohio River in Jeffersonville, I spotted a Mallard Drake and Hen cruising the shoreline at Fisherman's Wharf as well as some Ring-billed Gulls sitting quietly on the pier. To top off the day was a young woman sketching the bridges while seated on the pier at Fisherman's Wharf. Enjoy today's production.
Great shots! Did you get the young artist’s name so she could see the image you took of her?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I was unable to get close enough to ask, this was a drive-by shooting LOL
