March 7 - Firelight Arabian Horse Shoot

Today was an AWESOME photo shoot at the Firelight Arabian Horse Farm in Fisherville, KY.  Thanks to Bonnie Duffy with Louisville Photo Meetup for arranging the shoot, and thanks to the owners of Firelight Farms for accommodating our group today.  I think we about 10 photographers on the shoot today and I was pleased to be able to meet them all.  We toured the training barn and shot some photos there first and then we went outside to the corral where they brought out the mares and foals and let them run...it was spectacular to say the least.  Also while I was onsite I shot a female Ruby Crowned Kinglet (a life bird for me) as well as a red shouldered hawk and a cardinal perched proudly atop the weather vane on the training barn.  I hope you enjoy today's shots as much as I did taking them.
